Jesper Nordin has been awarded Sweden's most prestigious Composition Prize - the Christ Johnson Prize of 20.000. He receives it for the orchestral work Residues. Jesper Nordin's evocative and emotionally powerful sound world, originating in both traditional Swedish folk music as well as rock and improvised music, continues to attract audiences around the world.
On November 29, Jesper Nordin received the award at the Royal Musical Academy's Formal Gathering.
