The focus of the film is his work with Ensemble Süden, a group of young musicians formed in 2003 with the express aim of giving the Argentinian premiere of Kagel’s Die Stücke der Windrose, and whose enthusiasm for Kagel’s works and contemporary music in general provides an uplifting view of contemporary Argentinian culture.
