Christian Wolff at Tectonics Glasgow, lecture at School of Advanced Study, May 2014
Christian Wolff will appear at Glasgows Tectonics Festival (9-11 May 2014) as both composer and performer. The Festival, in its second year and curated by Ilan Volkov and Alasdair Campbell, is presented by the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra and features Ordinary Matter in a version for two orchestras alongside other works by Wolff, including Metal & Breath for metal percussion, voice and winds and Ashbery Madrigals for mixed voice choir. On 12 May 2014 Wolff will be at Senate House at the School of Advanced Study, London to talk about his music with Paul Archbold. The lecture will be followed by a concert with Apartment House and will feature the UK premières of Duo 10 for viola and cello and Emma for viola, cello and piano.
